Wednesday Journal

So I was traveling for the first time since March.

I took a flight last week to see my family and my sister, who got married. This is the year of breaking records, I hadn't seen them in 15 months.
It's been a special experience with all the restrictions, but we're very happy we could make it and travel (which we didn't know until 72h before the wedding).
When you have been in your bubble for more than six months, it's surprising to find out, there is basically one topic when you meet other people. Catching up somehow always brings you back to pandemic related experiences.

So let's move on to color and design-related topics only today; we need a break, right?

Enjoy today's Wednesday Journal, and hope over to my last thoughts, I'm going to tell you what to expect in the next Wednesday Journal, I haven't shared this type of content so far.

It's refreshing to see so much color again in a kitchen collection.
I need a toaster and a kettle, they come in different hues, and I can't quite decide for now on the colors. Could you?

The season of paint color trends for next has started with the first Color Of The Year 2021 by Dulux who presents Brave Ground.
Think of the feeling of being surrounded by clay, soil, or sand and the need for down-to-earth decisions and environments.

"The past year has seen how we live and work utterly transformed. We have gone through the most uncertain of times, so it’s understandable that we see reassuring, natural tones returning, which can be used to create the calm and sanctuary people require."
- Heleen van Gen, head of AkzoNobel's Global Aesthetic Centre, Netherlands

THE SOCIAL DILEMMA

This time, I'd like to focus on one single topic I watched the day it was launched and recommended by Amy Schumer.
The Social Dilemma should be watched in schools, universities, and by anybody who is on a social media platform.
And if you thought you knew much, I bet you'll discover a few new hard facts that make you think during days or even weeks.

LAST THOUGHTS

In the upcoming Wednesday Journal, I thought of sharing some of the last corporate projects we've been working on for months.
You can expect to watch four trend videos, and I will explain the concept and structure behind.
I'll be back in a couple of weeks.
Stay healthy and enjoy the warmer temperatures still.

Un abrazo.
